Having a premature baby in a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) is very stressful for parents. The uncertainty, the highs and lows, and the decisions all take their toll. This is One of the WORST things a parent - Mom and Dad will EVER have to deal with.
These Articles are from the March of Dimes reprinted here as part of an awareness campaign! I am Now doing my Part - Why? Because I have 2 premature baby girls who are now 8 months old. I have lived the horror of the this nightmare..
I am still living it but it gets better with each passing day. There are thousands of babies being born premature.. to moms who never saw a one and a half pound baby in their life.
To Parents and grandparents who are so terrified that all they do is cry!
