Do you believe in Premonition?
65Do you believe in Premonition?
I was at the office of our Construction and Engineering firm, when I saw this new guy. My colleagues later informed me, that he was the newly hired Electrical Engineer for our new project. Next time I saw him on the same day he was taking a walk and probably taking a short break from his day's work.
I got the chance to talk to him, when he approached me and started to introduce himself possibly to gain new friends. At first there were some topics which we have talked about and later he started talking about something which I think is not appropriate for that particular situation. He was talking about "water" and was raising so many questions about it. At first I was not interested in listening, but later on I decided to listen to him while he was talking as a sign of respect.
I was told later, that he was assigned to work in the project site located outside the city. After two days, I no longer saw him and I presume that he was already on that particular site for his work. A few days past, we received news from the site that he was found drowned on the beach near the worksite where he was working. It was a weekend and he tried to spend the day by swimming in the beach with some members of the staff.
I was really sad about the news and I understand now why he was talking to me with that matter as a topic. And this to me is a premonition that he was dying in the water. Most of the time, this remains unnoticed to some of us, who were able to talk to the person a few days before his death.
