Prepaid Plans for family and small business.
Prepaid cell phone service plans are becoming the "now" thing to do for both family and small businesses. It was not too long ago that having a prepaid cell phone was a dead giveaway that you had bad credit. It's not like that anymore. More and more people with great credit are turning to prepaid cell phone plans because of their flexibility, affordability, the ease of changing your service plans to suit your budget every month and prepaid service plans can be used on almost any cell phone.
What's more is that in some cases, using a prepaid plan is cheaper than being on a service plan. No more dividing up the minutes between family member in your household wondering if Suzy is going to yap you out of house and home.
T-Mobile
Incredibly on a T-Mobile prepaid plan, you can have unlimited calling to any five people on any network and even land lines. They also have blocking features to prevent incoming text messages from friends or family who never seem to listen, they offer text messaging bundles comparable to their regular contracted service plans.
You can have a family of 5 covered with unlimited calling to each other plus 4 others in any network for as little as $200.00 a month. That is a great price comparison. When I was on a regular family plan with T-Mobile I was paying over $100.00 a month just for two and that was for 1000 minutes between two people.
Now you can give each of your family member 300 minutes a month and unlimited calling to whoever they talk to the most. No more arguing about who is using up all the minutes. If Suzy talked too much it doesn't come out of your minutes. It's a pretty good way to keep Suzy in check and responsible.
MyFi? MiFi Hot Spot cards!
- Verizon and Sprint Novatel MiFi Mobile Hot Spot Cards
What is MiFi? MiFi is a mobile hot spot card that connects up to five laptops, cameras, phones and other wireless devices from one port. So you can share a hot spot with your friends in your car, on vacation....
Att Go, Pay as You Go plans.
Att also has features like T-mobile. They offer unlimited calling to anyone in the Att wireless network, prepaid or not. If you have your entire family on Att then why not use a prepaid service plan. Again, you can have a family of 5 covered for as little as $200.00 a month. You can use prepaid services an almost any phone.
You can easily keep updated on the how many minutes you are using by texting a special code which is free, to att so you never go over your minutes, you an refill your phones in case you need more call time on month or you can call in and have the service plan adjusted to reflect what you need right away, which is cheaper.
Using Prepaid for Business
More and more small businesses are turning to using prepaid plans such as Att Go and T-Mobile pay as you go plans because it really does cut cost. You can know exactly how much it will cost you each month to provide a calling plan for all your employees. Att pay as you go is perfect for small businesses because you can call each other as much as you need to and never worry about using up all your minutes and if your employees are being irresponsible with their phone usage, you no longer have to eat the cost.
Plus, if anything should go wrong with an employee, instead of sucking up the contract that you found yourself obligated to, all you have to do is shut off the sim card and purchase a new one for as little as 5 dollars with a brand new number for your band new employee. It's that easy, it's that simple and it is that affordable.
Prepaid services have come a long way to make everything affordable and convenient for family, friends and even small businesses. Why not switch to prepaid.

That's great Ande. Who knew! Glad you saving money.
I'll have to try tracphone out
and the coverage is good?
I use a Go Phone for all kinds of things. The convenience is awesome but most of all I do not have to commit.

Good work Sandra. I have switched my T-Mobile to Tracfone. I've been getting better rates and coverage. It is unbelievable how much I have saved since switching to the other providers. Sprint and ATT were running me 500 dollars a month or more. Now I'm at a MUCH lower cost per month and using more time. Love it. Keep up the good work and have fun.
