Presdient Bush: "Wall Street Got Drunk"
52Exclusive Bush Video: "Wall Street Got Drunk"
I originally posted this on my blog and I figured I'd share it with the HubPages community. I have an exclusive video of President Bush's at a GOP fundraiser declaring "Wall Street Got Drunk. It got drunk and now its got a hangover."
The story came from the Huffington Post and was found on Digg.com just hours later
The story is transcribed below:
"Wall Street Got Drunk":'Banned' Video Surfaces
Greg Mitchell, Huffington Post
An ABC-TV outlet in Houston, and now the Houston Chronicle, have posted a video taken at a political fundraiser for Pete Olson, featuring George W. Bush last week - capturing some embarrassing/revealing moments after, he noted, he had asked cameras to be turned off.
The first moments form the July 18 event find him speaking almost incoherently in admitting, for once, that his friends in big business had screwed up: "There's no question about it. Wall Street got drunk -that's one of the reasons I asked you to turn off the TV cameras - it got drunk and now it's got a hangover. The question is how long will it sober up and not try to do all these fancy financial instruments."
Then, making light of the foreclosure crisis, he said: "And then we got a housing issue... not in Houston, and evidently not in Dallas, because Laura's over there trying to buy a house. [great laughter] I like Crawford but unfortunately after eight years of sacrifice, I am apparently no longer the decision maker.

I don't know about you but the funniest thing he says is "Wall Street got drunk. They got drunk and not it's got a hangover. The question is how long will it sober up and try to do all these fancy financial instruments." To be honest, he doesn't make an ounce of sense and this is another great reason why I'm glad that his term is almost over.
I've attached a copy of the video in case another copy gets axed. Enjoy and don't forget to comment.
*Cheers*

I guess so. I keep telling myself it's only a few more months, it's only a few more months.
Bush sounds drunk himself in that video--it would explain a lot I guess. It may be only a few more months, Lady Luthi, but it's enough time to get us into deep doo doo with the Russians if the idiot in chief doesn't stop playing Texas cowboy over this Georgia situation. Thanks for the hub and the video-- I don't know whether to laugh or cry but I do know you get a thumbs up:-)
