Preteen Model Sites - Legitimate Agencies or Child Pornography?

Time to Crack Down

There are thousands of modeling agencies listed on the world wide web, but in many cases, they're nothing more than web pages offering pictures of scantily clothed young girls, wearing thongs, and placed in provocative and sexually suggestive poses. These sites advertise "100% No Nude" photos, yet, the pictures that are offered are sickening to anyone who has young daughters.

Of course, there are legitimate modeling agencies throughout the country, and it's best for one to seek them out locally prior to searching the net that promises to make stars of aspiring or established young models. Recently, a friend of a friend had engaged in a modeling and acting session and the web address had been given to my friend so she could view the her friend's progress. Everything appeared on the up-and-up and the session went well. There were several links on the page that had been viewed, and when one had selected, it opened a new site offering pictures of girls between the ages of 6 and 13 in very scantily attire.

My first thought was, "Where are the parents when these shoots are taking place?" Surely I thought, most of the parents of these girls didn't know the pictures were taken - I would allow no one to take those types of pictures of my daughter.

One of the problems one will encounter when searching the net for a legitimate modeling agency is not knowing what will open when clicking a link. Some pages offer several links which are placed on a page as banners. The pictures on MOST of these banners are disturbing in the way that they offer photos of teen or preteen girls in thongs or underwear in very provocative poses.

One suggestion when searching for a teen modeling agency is NOT selecting one that uses the words loli, lola, nymphet, hot, extreme, or anything that would suggest something distasteful.

I find it disgusting that there are so many sites that offer child pornography, and what's worse, they are easily accessible. I believe it is the search engines' duty to remove all supposed legitimate modeling agency listings if they offer suggestive poses of young children. Google's search engine posts a notice as such - In response to a legal request submitted to Google, we have removed 4 result(s) from this page. If you wish, you may read more about the request at ChillingEffects.org when certain results are questionable. Well, they are missing a whole lot of sites and I for one, would love to work from home to rid the web of these sick, demented people who, not only offer these provocative photos, but make a ton of money doing so.

The Bottom Line - Teens and preteens reclined on a bed, sitting in a chair, or bending over, camera shooting from the back, legs spread in a provocative pose... is this modeling or child pornography? I'm sorry, but I cannot see this as any type of decent modeling. My wife and I entered our son in a beauty contest some 20 years ago and most parents offered a portfolio of their children. Not one time did I observe a child, boy or girl in a provocative pose. These portfolios offered the viewers smiling faces of girls in frilly, bright colored dresses or sun suits; the boys, in jeans or slacks, sometimes shorts and shirts. So many of the modeling sites that offer pictures of young children today are disgusting, demeaning and cruel.

I for one would like to begin a campaign to petition the proper channels of the United States Government to close MOST child modeling sites down, and in cases where children are being asked to pose in provocative positions, there should minimally be fines levied against the webmasters. Government agencies use monies to pursue criminals involved in drug trafficking, prostitution rings, and illegal arms runners, why then, can't our children be protected from these predators? It does not take much effort to learn the names of the owners and webmasters of these sites.

It is an insult to anyone with a smidgen of common sense when these sites use the words,Non Nude, 100% legal, or Art in the description of their so called modeling sites. Offering a few 'eye candy' preview photos, then, if one is a bit demented, they can pay a sizable fee for a complete set of photos. I dare not imagine just how provocative or demeaning the photos in these available sets might be.

It's high time OUR government cracked down on child 'modeling' sites in the United States.

I am totally agree with your thoughts and I also think that this the responsibility of parents and guardians to get the details about these agencies and sites befofe taking the services.

I for one love these websites. I have a membership on two of them, "cutie" from art modeling studios and "liliana" also from art modeling studios. I highly recommend them. The photos are taken with professional lighting and are in high resolution. Yes they wear thongs, they have the body for it. As long as they are happy posing for the pictures, are well fed and educated, and have a generally happy life, there is nothing wrong with it. Remember, there are foreign cultures who don't see things the same way ours does and the internet is a global medium.

I think it is up to the parents to insure there kids are not being exposed to any provocative poses. If we ban ever site on the internet then we might as well turn the computer off and throw it in the trash. As I do agree with you that we should protect our kids its up to the parents, that's were it has to start.

I have seen many of these sites you talk about... Notice also most of them are Laced with happy toys to flip your computer into a haven of torjans and other goodies to crash your computer. Let's face it, if it is porn it's bug and it's watch and ready to be shut down by the Fed's(also probing to get your IP arrest you for being there). Agree? One of these links end up putting into a world of 1000's of others..Like going fishing with a worm and your in (excuse the term) Kiddie pool full of sharks.

I know, I was searching for a modeling agent , stumbled up on one of these, and took me all day to clean my computer.Because of some of the sites it shot me to... I trash the computer an got a new one.Wasn't taken any chances to what THEY uploaded to my computer. WISE to others.... If your going to play with kids( especailly my children...) you better make sure my gun is not loaded and pointed at you... Child porn is Child porn no matter how much you try to cover up the truth. Rodger.. you said..."there are foreign cultures who don't see things the same way ours does and the internet is a global medium" Don't think they see putting little kids on sex market or prostuting or subjecting them to that kind of exposure is healthy nor do they allow it. You said they get paid good, right? Well if I pay you good to jump off a mountian is that going to make it right?

Very well said, Luke. I became interested in these modeling sites after seeing a newscast of a young girl that was signed by her parents. Little did they know what would transpire after the first couple of shoots. At least one parent had enough gumption to go after the so called 'photographer' and modeling agency. There is no reason any child especially girls should pose in any sort of provocative style. Roger also stated, "They have the body for it." For what for christ's sakes? They have the bodies of children. I cannot accept anyone asking a child to pose in seductive poses. Children ages 6-12 posing in this manner is just not acceptable. I love how some of these sites call it "Art."

Sorry paul, I couldn't help but notice your comment previous about getting the url for the sites? Why do you want them, not just to later say how sick it is. Not to mention your last post saying how unacceptable it is to take pictures of children in seductive poses ages 6-12? Okay, so as long as they're over 12 years of age it's okay? I don't think so.....An adult is the only time it's okay in my opinion. I wouldn't want my 13 or 15 or 16 year old posing in something like that! Not well I'm still alive that's for sure. I think you might want to change your numbers from ages 0-17 that should not be put into those seductive poses.

Actually, it was supposed to read 6-22 not twelve. I thought one year above the minumum drinking age in most states was acceptable.

Hello Paul, I am interested in stopping this stuff called art, or even more ludricus, it being called professional modeling. What can actually be done to stop this trafficking of children? What have you found? A for Roger, deep shame on him for his perversion and defense of this trash.

"It should have read 'date of conception to 991/2 years old'", get off it!

What a lot of you guys don't realize is that the little girls in these websites aren't your average looking girls. They have exceptional bodily attributes that resemble a mature womanly figure and beautiful doll-like faces. It is truly rare to find little girls with this perfect mix of features. Apparently, you all haven't seen it for yourself but with close-up pictures of their figures, your can hardly tell the difference between an adult and a little girls picture. It is this combination of mature and childlike features that make them so appealing, and a truly rare and precious gem.

Personally, I find it sickening that you people keep overreacting to this kind of stuff. it's people like you that make it impossible for me to get stuff like nude beach photos, because god forbid, there could be a naked kid playing and splashing in the freaking water!

you know, being all adorable and KID LIKE, oh what a crime!

this is only so sickening to people who listen to the media hype BULLSH1T. And I should know, since I professionally catch pedophiles. 99.4% of them want videos of preteen kids.

Personally I myself only look at still photos to admire the grace and beauty and innocence, not looking for some way to rip it away from them.

This crack down crap is just an old magician's trick. one hand draws your attention to one thing, while another goes unnoticed. Political fodder. If you really want to protect children, monitor sites and programs like KaZaA. you would not believe the horrible amount of disgusting crap you can find with the right search term. and the amount of people sharing it is even more disturbing.

So, in short, to all who keep bitching about naked kids and suggestive poses, get your minds out of the gutter and focus on REAL problems. stop being nit-picker perfectionalists.
