Mold only grows in moist areas. Be sure and keep your clothes stored in an area where moisture is not a problem. It is always best to have ventilation around the clothes, but that isn't always a possibility. A Containers which are completely airtight are good to use. If air cannot get in or out the moisture should stay out also.

Cedar has a natural insect repellent in it. Moths will not go where cedar is, so cedar chips would be a great addition to the area where you store your clothes. The best way would be to line the area with cedar, but this is not always an option.
