Primrose Valley is a Haven Caravan Site located in North Yorkshire, England.

Primrose Valley Caravan Park is A Haven Holiday Park just down the North East Coast from Filey and set amidst gorgeous gardens close to the beach.

As UK Holidays go Primrose Valley is very well appointed with a load of onsite activities designed to help you and your family make the most of your holiday - take a dip in one of the fantastic swimming pools, or have a go on the climbing wall; its even got its own funfair.

If the weather turns against you (which is always possible in the UK!) then inside you will find enough childrens clubs and cabaret entertainment to keep you occupied all day.

How to get there

By Car: The Park is on the A165 between Scarborough and Bridlington approximately 2 miles south of Filey. Postcode: YO14 9RF

Activities

The selection of indoor and outdoor sports facilities means they have everything covered regardless of the weather. Football, fishing, mini-fencing or archery; if its sports you want its sports you can have. And I've not even mentioned the tennis and basket ball courts, abseiling, mini-golf and a host of other activities to numerous to list here.

The swimming pools are another great source of activity onsite and you can choose from any of the following:

  • AquaJets
  • Learn2Swim
  • Aqua Gliders
  • Scuba Diving
  • Turbo Paddlers
  • Water Walkerz

It should be noted however that not all of these activities are free of charge and it is recommended to see about about buying a leisure pass from reception to faciliate your stay.

Off the Park

The beach at Filey is just a short walk away from the Primrose Valley Park itself. A very picturesque beach with perfect sand against a backdrop of cliffs.

Scarborough Marine Sanctuary
The Scarborough Sea Life Centre is bother entertaining and educational and provides a fascinating introduction to the many creatures of the deep. Prepare for astonishing close views of everything from humble starfish to mighty sharks, all in displays which carefully recreate their natural habitats.

Eden Camp Museum
Eden camp is built from an actual prisoner of war camp from WWII and is a unique museum that will transport you back in time to wartime Britain. In an educational but neverthless fascinating day out for all the family you will experience what it was like during the blitz as well as fighting on the front line. Not to be missed.
