By Hello, hello,

Prince Harry, the second son of Princess Diana is shedding his playboy image and changing into a fine and responsible young man.

On Tuesday 15 September 2009 was his 25th birthday. He became into half the share of his mother's £13 million fortune. He and Prince William agreed, long ago, that they will not touch this money, the lump sum nor the interest of £300.000 it brings each year, until they are 30.

He is training as an Army Air Corps pilot. Prince Harry has two priority aims. One to become a top helicopter pilot and the other to help deprived and sick children. These two aims driving him forward.

When he went to New York at the end of May and played at the Manhattan Polo Classic, he also entertained some super-wealthy donors. He raised a sum of £245,000 for the charity 'Sentebale' which means forget-me-not. Prince Harry set up this charity in memory of Princess Diana to help African Aids orphans and other vulnerable children.

Prince Harry's rashness, which got him into trouble in earlier days, has been turned into quick thinking to assess problems and solutions. He has his mother's emotional intelligence which makes him quick to grasp the heart of an issue and connect with anyone he meets.

At charity meeting, whether they are wealthy potential donors or terminally ill children, he has the gift to put people at ease. He is like Diana with a winning smile and joke he wins everyone's heart. He has that charm of Princess Diana and when he meets children he goes down to their level just like his mother.

Despite of the terrible experience at the tender age of 12 years he slowly emerges a more happier and mature man. I am sure his mother looks down on him and she must be proud of Prince Harry the way he came through his experiences. I am sure there many more behind the scene paper didn't hear about it or were not allowed to write about it.

Hello Hello,

This is a nice refreshing hub! Very informative! I think that it is often forgotten that regardless of social standing or how much money one has or does not have we all have needs, can be hurt, bleed blood and will have issues. Each of us has been given a unique temperament, because of this we react or respond differently. How we have been nurtured factors in greatly as to how one will fare through their life experiences.

Prince Harry no doubt has undergone a traumatic experience in losing his Mom... It is understandable for a season he would act out a bit...For him to turn out to be such a fine young man and extend himself as you say; "He has his mother's emotional intelligence which makes him quick to grasp the heart of an issue and connect with anyone he meets." Diana no doubt extended much love to her sons!

Princess Diana not only left her sons financial security she left them invaluable assets of integrity, passion and concern for others!

Thank you for this delightful hub!

Blessings
