Instructions
To print these invitations, click the thumbnails below for the full-size images. Save to your computer. Open in any image viewer and print. These are optimized for American paper sizes. If you are using A4 (European) paper, you will need to click on 'fit to screen' in the printer window.
If you want to print your address and party date details on the card, try this easy method:
- Open the downloaded images in Windows Paint- the easiest way to do this is to right click on the image, select 'open with' and choose 'Paint'.
- Once you are in Paint, open the text tool (identified by an 'A' in the left-hand tool bar).
- Draw a rectangle with your mouse where you want to type on the page
- Type name, address, date (or anything else).
- Save the images then open in any image viewer and print.
If you need to rotate the images in Paint use the flip/rotate command in the 'image' drop box at the top of the screen. If you make a mistake, open the 'edit' drop box and hit 'undo'.
The invitations will look best on light card with a slight gloss.
The finished images will print as 2 invitations per page and will need to be cut into two separate pieces. If you don't have a paper trimmer you can use a craft knife and a steel ruler or a pair of good quality scissors. This is a job for grown ups!
