Make Your own Cut and Paste Illustrations

Find a book or magazine with some good pictures like animals, airplanes or dolls. Give the young artist some white paper (not too opaque).

Show the youngster how to trace the outlines of the pictures and then color them in.They can be cut out and pasted in a scrap book with special labels like "Elephant drinking blue water".

Accordion books can be made with bigger sheets of paper folded into the shape of an accordion. Illustrations can be bound into book form with colored ribbon or sewn together with a needle and thread

Make Your own Cards for Birthdays, Christmas, Easter or any Occasion

Cut out pictures from magazines or, better still, old cards and glue onto construction paper.
