The Bass fly fishing is the kind of fishing that involves the use of man-made fly. It is very different from the customary methods of fishing used by fly fishers, where they cast hooks with bits of feather, foam, yarn or fur attached or some similar kind of material to create what is referred to as a fly as compared to using worms or some other kind of bait.

The so called pro bass fishing is similar to the common fly-fishing that we know. Their difference is that pro bass fishing involves a professional in the activity of fishing. Most of these are people well respected in their specific line of fishing activity. They are considered experts because of their devotion and much love in the fishing game inclusive of their contributions.

Some fly fishermen have developed a technique of luring the bass with a few tantalizing strokes of the fly over the Bass' resting place. This catches the interest of the bass and makes him go for the bait. This makes the game of fly fishing all the more interesting and exciting.

I believe that an angler, with a fly rod in hand, can cover lots of good prospective water in a short time. Fly-casting is not as difficult as it first appears and fortunately, in the case of bass, one does not have to make long casts. 30 to 40 ft. is an acceptable distance. But, very accurate casting is a 'must' due to the very nature of where bass are found and the cover one must usually cast into. If areas are approached with stealth, most casts may be less than 30 feet. Oh, yes - I have lost many bass bugs to the 'Stick Gods'.

Some fly fisherman regard fly fishing as the holy grail of fishing. It is more relaxing and some say a better past time than golf. The sport of fly fishing see people from all walks of life. Some say it is more environmentally friends than the other type of fishing because it does less harm to the fish then other styles of fishing.

The art of fly fishing will get in to your blood and you will peruse the quite of the streams or the solitude of the ocean beaches to capture you prey. Most anglers will catch and release if they are fly fishing. If you are interested in reading more about bass fishing. Any thing from equipent to locations. We have it all at Pro Bass Fishing.
