ProForm 650 T

Description

It doesn't matter if you live in a clutter free home or if there isn't room for anything, both are reason enough to look at the ProForm 650 T SpaceSaver Elliptical. The ability to fold the wheels so that you can roll it away like a dolly especially helps those that need to move it, but weigh less than the machine does, in the end making it just an added comfort. With a long lasting sales price of $599 many exercisers will want to find out everything they can about the T SpaceSaver.

Pros

The biggest benefit the 650 T has over the rest of the ellipticals is the ability to change the stride length from 13" to 18". This allows both men and women of various sizes and strengths to use the elliptical machine efficiently, getting as much benefit out of their workouts as possible. Especially in households where several people use the machine, but have to adjust it to fit each person's goals.

You'll find different comments on what the actual weight capacity is, which vary between 275 and 300 lbs., although the latter has been seen more frequently. The actual workout will be nothing short of compact, as sensors find out your heart rate and if you are working out as hard as the particular program requires. Plus the addition of the Silent Magnetic Resistance which allows for a clean motion while exercising, eliminating the jerking effect which could cause injury.

Cons

Even the 650 T SpaceSaver only has a 90 day warranty that is for "limited" parts and labor, so you'll have to spend anywhere from $60-$100 for an extended plan. Which you may need soon depending on how often you use this elliptical machine as there have been issues dealing with cheap motorized brakes, and the machine breaking down for some. Then there are some people that feel as though the 650 T is unstable as well with constant movement like the machine is going to fall over even though there are no cases saying it has ever happened.

Description

Keep in mind that even though this SpaceSaver is $600 you can plan on spending around $800 before its all said and done with taxes and extended warranties. With this being said, we encourage everyone to go down to your local stores and try the machines out before you decide on making a purchase. This only makes people feel more comfortable making their final decision, because there will be a sense of knowing you didn't miss out on another machine with a better price and benefit.

I like the honesty of the review in discussing the pros and cons of the machine.
