Product Review: Hawaiian Tropic Tanning Products
66The hot rays of the sun are calling your name. Whether you are at the beach, lounging by the pool, or sunbathing in your backyard, you need to include a tanning oil in your worship of the sun. But, with all the tanning products on the market, how do you choose which one to buy? First you have to decide if you want lotion or oil. I prefer oil as it doesn't wash off as easily when I get in the pool to cool off. Next, you need to decide how much SPF coverage you need.
Hawaiian Tropic Tanning Oil comes in a wide variety of SPF protection. For me, I need a 15 or better because of my fair skin and tendency to burn. You will get the best coverage for your money with this product. It is by far cheaper per ounce than most of the other brands and a little bit goes a long way. It is light enough to wear even if you are at an outing such as a baseball game and safe enough to put on your face.

The oil goes on smoothly and smells divine. Their packaging hasn't changed much over the years. You can still find it in most local shops. It really brings to mind sand and surf. They have rub-on oil, spray on, and a self-tanner.
While many may choose a more expensive brand, this one has been a staple in my home for years. I use it not only as a protection agent against the rays of the sun, but also as an after bath treatment for dry skin. It doesn't leave you feeling oily and in need of a bath. The light coconut scent will leave you refreshed and ready to face the day or send you into dreamland thinking of the surf.
Don't be fooled by the new fangled brands, stick with a tried and true tanning oil. Hawaiian Tropic Tanning oil is just such a product. Keep it in your car just in case you stop and need a little protection from the sun. Take it on trips with you where you know you will be out in the rays and heat. Put it in your bathroom and use it regularly to smooth and soothe dry skin. Add a drop or two to your bath water and relax as the coconut smell takes you to the tropics.
