For the past several months I have been planning a launch of a social network for an elite group of people. That elite group of people are architects, bankers, contractors, developers, engineers, investors, sub-contractors and vendors. All of these groups of people are the key to bringing a building to use for the intended uses. I personally presently work for an architect in my city, and although things seem thin, I know of others in my community that are barely hanging on. I feel that this website can provide a connection between all of these professionals in a unique way. Architects can find partnerships on projects that they have proposed on, but may not have adequate staff to meet the schedule imposed by the client. Contractors can find sub-contractors in another city and obtain bids on a new project in their general area. Vendors can provide materials or support for a project in their region. Bankers and investors can be available to developers to arrainge financing of a project. This network can be the place where issues of code and or ordinance requirements can be discussed. With this network, research time can be decreased when a developer is seeking design professionals in a city they have in mind for a project.  I feel that this is a unique opportunity to help those in my profession and those who are in the list noted above.
