How to Know if You Need a Ghost Writer

If you are a webmaster or own any type of business, you need content often. Articles, brochures, content for your website and blogs - the list is endless. So how do you know if you need a professional ghostwriter? Here are a few signs:

  1. You don't have time to create the content you need to make your business successful.
  2. You aren't a great writer, and realize that someone who is could do a better job.
  3. You realize that content that isn't compelling and interesting will leave something to be desired. Visitors to your site won't stay long if they don't find the information they are looking for.

These are a few indications that you may need to hire someone to do the writing for you.

Ghost writing is a skill that not everyone has. Creating compelling content that will catch your readers interest and keep it is crucial to the success of your online (or offline) business.

When you realize that you need help, don't waste time trying to find the cheapest writer you can find. Many times, you get what you pay for. Content is king on the internet, so hiring a qualified ghostwriter is the smartest, most profitable move you can make.

What to Look for in a Professional Ghost Writer

When you do decide that it is time to hire a professional ghost writer, there are certain things you should look for.  Of course price is always a consideration, and you will find rates all over the board.  From $2 (for a cheap, poorly written article) to $25 and up, the rates vary widely.

Here are some things you should consider when looking for a qualified ghostwriter:

  1. Experience.  Do they have a website?  Is it professional looking, and well written?
  2. Samples of their writing.  Most reputable ghost writers will post a few articles on their site, so that you can see the quality of their work.  Look for spelling and grammar errors, although everyone makes a mistake now and then.  But poorly written content with many errors is a sign of less than stellar work.
  3. Testimonials.  If the writer does good work, they will usually post a few client testimonials on their site.  This helps you discern if they have done good quality work in the past.

These are a few things you should look for when you decide to hire a ghostwriter.  You will want to check their rates, turnaround time and payment terms.  Most writers require a deposit before starting the work, with the remainder down at time of delivery.

This information will help you find a good, qualified person to help you with your content needs.  Come back and visit - updated often!

Hello..though the hub might not be of direct interest to me. but it does to a large extent works just as well for ghost writers than for advertisers or webmasters.

a great guide to chose a ghost writer. also, a great guide for a ghost writer to know waht is expected of them.

Thanks for writing.
