What is Google Profile? This profile is used to show and tell people on Google who and what you are about. As a business person this can be a valuable tool. With this tool you can do multiple things. Let us take a look at it:

As you can see a lot of information goes into this profile. Not just your name so you want to careful and really put some thought into your some of your responses. This is not where you are a teenager just adding some fun facts. This is your business. You don’t need to add everyplace you worked at unless it is relevant to current occupation. Some personal information is really not necessary. Only business related is.
Write you bio carefully. This is where the guts are. Capture the attention. Use this in a manner similar to an advertisement. Adding a picture is also a very good idea. Today everyone wants a face to go with a name.
Now you want to add your links. Add you links to articles you written and products. You have the idea. If you have a Blogger account, add that next. If you don’t, I suggest you do.
Now it is time to enter your website links and your Social network links. Put them all in there.
The last part is your contact information. Make sure that you can be reached by many different methods.
You will see that you get page rank from your Google profile and thus it passes authority to your website since it is a link directly from Google themselves.
