Ad placement and good misdirected content.

Placing your ads where they look natural in the content seem to work the best for me. If you will notice in the example shown the AdSense in the blog looks like part of the content. The ads targeted are not specific to the content however they would target someone who finds that page looking for Mustang Accessories. Which is definitely not the target audience for the subject.

The target audience would be there for information about Building a Blog Network however some of the verbiage is about Ford Mustangs.

The content is not AdSense spam like a scraped site. It really provides the reader with quality information about building a blog network. People reading the site to learn about building a blog network will not care about Ford Mustangs per se'. So if a Mustang Enthusiast finds that article I offer them a place to go and monetize it on their way out.

Using AdSense to monetize a site with repeat visitors is probably not the best use of the content. Use AdSense to monetize the visitor that finds you by mistake and sell your regular visitors Affiliate Products and build a list.
