Theres better organizations than this. If you looked into how many kids are kept or how much they actually help.
Dis, I would love to know about other organizations that support adoption. Do you have specific ideas?
Andromeda10, this is a subject after my own heart. One of my three grown children was adopted from infancy after a terrible beginning. I have had closer than I would ever have imagined exposure to a situation where a young mother placed her newborn in a plastic bag (although the child was found soon enough to be fine).
After 30 years of being my son's mother (not because I couldn't have children, but because I wanted to offer him what I knew I could); and after more than 20 years of having two biological children as well; I so wish young mothers knew how the bond and love between adopted child and parent can be exactly the same as between child and biological parent. I wish, too, young girls would realize that they should just tell their parents, even if that means writing them a note and asking for their help.
