Prospects are looking and picking who they want to do business with, just as much as you the Leader are looking and picking.

So what is it that you bring to the table as a Leader? The prospect is wondering.. " Are you truly genuine? Are you interested in me and willing to help me? What is it that you do that makes you a great leader?"

Let's look at some of these ideas.

1. Be yourself... One of the worst things that you can do is try to be someone other than yourself. Show your face on all your pages, make yourself accessible and approachable.

Have passion in your business and a strong belief in yourself. Lack of self and passion can lead to your prospects lack of confidence in you and your business.

2. Listen to your prospect... Are you providing your prospect with a solution to their problem or just trying to sell something? When you communicate with your prospect make sure that they know you understand.

Be able to give them tools, resources or formulas that will help them move forward. Let them know you are interested.

3. Lead by example... Let your prospect know what you are doing. Show them how you are taking action, show your passion through your content that you guide them too.

Give them an opportunity to look into your opportunity for free. Guide them through your opportunity, give them confidence in you.

4. Draw upon experiences... Draw upon experiences good and bad. This helps your prospect see that what they want to avoid.

Give examples such as your horror stories with "cold-calling," generating leads through buying leads. This gives credibility to your successes.

5. Promise only the minimum gains... If you promise to much you can be setting your prospect up for disappointment. This is usually where the loosely used word "scam" comes in. Prevent this..

Let them know that it all depends on them. "No action = no return." Then as they do grow and earn more than expected you will have a long-term relationship.

Prospects look for energy, enthusiasm, and dedication in their Leader.

So, Start at the top and be that Leader.
