Hello, I am a 30 year old male. There are some issues with "our" technology which I do not understand. Me and my wife got an ultrasound recently. They rolled the ultrasound camera along her stomach and we could see a  pecker. It's a boy! Ok, to my point, this camera is freaking amazing. The camera gives a live view of the child "inside" the belly. How is it possible our technology can create something this amazing, yet a man must be violated for a prostate exam?

On my doctor visit, I was nervously waiting for the doctor to enter the room. I knew what was coming from previous friends horror stories. The nurse entered to get some extra information for the doctor. She was a little nurse in her 40's with "small fingers". I thought maybe this was a sign of hope.

When the doctor entered the room, I broke a sweat. The Doc. was around 6ft. 240lbs. His fingers were freaking ridiculous. I'm talking about "Andre the Giant" fingers. The experience gave me a different light on why some men die with "unknown" prostate cancer. To say the least, the exam was quite miserable. My doctor at saying "relax", the word just kinda came natural to him. I believe during the exam, I lost 5-10lbs. of water weight, "sweat".

Although the exam was up there with the "worst", I would not sacrifice my health by not getting checked, especially with a wife and kid on the way. To all men, if you have some pee problems, go get checked. Your ego is not more important than your health.

Back to the technology aspect, how is it possible to have this "amazing" little ultrasound camera, yet you must be violated with a "manual finger" to be checked for a prostate exam. Now I have a better sense of how women feel "popping" out a kid.
