Protein Powder Additives

Well in my latest blogs I was talking about the benefits of protein on your body. Now I wanna take this time to tell you about the wonder benefit some protein powders contain, additives. Have you ever heard of the supplement creatine? Creatine is a substance found naturally in your body, found in your skeletal muscle this substance helps your body in the muscle recovery phase. Besides doing the creatine stores water you drink and uses that water to open up your muscles to help stimulate that extra growth. Now creatine is in our body already, in fact there is two different food sources that is rich in this supplement, fish and red meat. If you eat those meats it will help to naturally produce creatine in your body. Now this is all good, but you are going to have to eat a lot of meat just to be able to get your creatine level up to be useful in muscle growth. So some protein powders have took the time to add creatine to their mixture, how nice. See this makes it easier for us yet again, eat that protein powder!

Now finally another thing that you can find in a protein shake yet probably the most important, amino acids. Amino acids are a type of molecule in the body that has proven to be one of the most important in our body’s, including metabolism digestion. Ok, we have talked about protein countless times now but surely it has brought up the question “sure sure, protein its great but what the heck is it made off?” Protein is built up of amino acids! So there you go, protein is made up by its building blocks the amino acids. Now they say you need to consume about 20 different types of amino acids per day to be able to get the amount your body needs. Thankfully protein powder has around if not all 20 in one easy to drink serving. So with all this said not only should you go out and but some protein powder right now, you should also take into account to pick some up that has the additives, creatine as well as your daily supply of the much needed amino acids. Once again if you listen to me and take the next step you will find your body in a much healthier muscle building condition.
