My Favorite Protein Shake Recipes

Coming up with some quick Protein Shake Recipes that taste good is important, especially in the morning. What I have done is search the web and found some good Protein Shake Recipes to share with you all. I have even added my favorite Protein Shake Recipes that I use almost every morning to keep me going through out the day.

-Espresso or some old coffe from the day before (usually the latter for me)

-Ice cubes

-1 scoop Vanilla Whey Protein Powder

-Chocolate Syrup

First add 1 scoop of your Vanilla Whey Protein Powder to a blender (I use my Magic Bullet). Then add your Ice. About 1/3 of your container size of what you will be drinking out of. Next add one serving of Chocolate Syrup and fill the rest with Espresso or Old Coffe. Blend until you reach the consistancy you want. Drink up! This is one of my favorite Protein Shake Recipes right after my workouts. The sugar from the Chocolate Syrup helps to replenish any used glucose and keep your body from using your muscle for energy. Plus it tastes awesome! The Whey Protein Powder also usually has it's own sweetener that helps compliment the espresso or coffe. If I didn't work out that day I usually skip the Chocolate Syrup and it still tastes great! As easy as the concept sounds people have told me "Protein Powder in Coffee?? YOU'RE A GENIOUS!"

 Root Beer Float:

(Maximum Fat Loss or Lean Mass Gain)

1 can Diet A&W Root Beer

1 to 2 tablespoons Heavy Cream

4 ice cubes

1 to 3 scoops vanilla protein powder

Mix em' all up!

I thought this one look good so I tried it.  I liked the fact that you could add Diet A&W but I kinda questioned the Heavy Cream.  It was still very very tasty.  I would recommend this one as a night time snack while watching a good movie with the family.

Protein Pudding

1 Sugar Free Instant Pudding Mix

2 Scoops Whey Protein Powder

Mix Pudding Mix and Protein Powder and make as directed.

Now I know this isn't really concidered as one of the Protein Shake Recipes but it was still fun. I make this at night and use it as a mid-day snack in betwee meals. It tastes just like the real pudding and you don't feel guilty at all when you eat it. Jeff includes this and others in his Combat the Fat program.

Protein Shake Recipes are endless. Protein powders are so versatile that they can be added to just about anything and make it taste that much better. With its flavor and own sweetener Protein Powder is perfect with fruit, yogurt, milk, water, or any other healthy snack that can be blended up (although I would recommend NOT using oatmeal. That's just a BAD idea).

Use your imagination and have fun!
