ProtiDiet - Pre-Packaged Weight Loss?
61First Impressions of ProtiDiet
ProtiDiet is a line of high-protein weight loss products. These pre-packaged snacks and foods are thought to promote The Protein Diet, which is said to help dieters get rid of excess weight rapidly. This is a supposedly scientific diet that requires strict adherence. It makes sense then that an entire line of pre-packaged foods would be available to ProtiDiet dieters, as they’d most likely need help sticking to the strict diet.
It seems that ProtiDiet is focused on high-protein, low-fat, low-calorie foods. These are apparently designed to promote weight loss, but there is a lack of helpful information available on the company website. Consumers are left to guess just how fat loss is supposed to occur with ProtiDiet. And it is my thought that significant, sustainable fat loss probably won’t take place with ProtiDiet. Usually, pre-packaged food programs like this can’t last. Either they become unappetizing, or dieters discover they’ve become too dependent on the pre-packaged products and have learned absolutely nothing about how to lose weight in a healthy and natural way. In light of both cases, it is difficult to get behind a product line like ProtiDiet.
ProtiDiet and How It’s Supposed to Work
As mentioned above, ProtiDiet offers a wide variety of products, including Maple Syrup, Cereal, Lemonade, Diet Shakes, Snack Bars, and even light Pastas and Omelettes. Hot drink and food mixes are also available. By way of example, we can look at ProtiDiet snack bars. These come in a variety of flavors and deliver only 140 calories, 5 grams of fat, 2.5 grams of saturated fat, 14 grams of carbs, and 15 grams of protein. It seems that, most ProtiDiet products simply offer dieters a low-calorie, low-fat option that is loaded with protein. This makes sense in light of The Protein Diet, but it may not be a suitable diet method for some.
In the end, it’s a little disconcerting to get your diet aids from a product line that doesn’t go out of its way to explain itself that clearly. The ProtiDiet website is not useless, but neither is it completely helpful or illuminating. In fact, on the most crucial page – the one explaining The Proein Diet – there is no information to be found. This is a serious oversight, as interested consumers like me need a bit more to go on than a blank page.
Drawbacks to ProtiDiet
The ProtiDiet website was a disappointing resource for me. I want more information from a diet program before I make up my mind, and ProtiDiet doesn’t have what it takes to convince me. And as mentioned above, I think pre-packaged-food weight loss programs like this end up being ineffective in the long run. And what’s more – some nutritionists are going to suggest that a low-calorie, low-fat, high-protein diet like this isn’t the only or best way to go about weight loss. In short, there seem to be a number of drawbacks.
Would I Live By ProtiDiet?
I’m not completely convinced by ProtiDiet. The website and the questionable diet rationale – along with no mention of exercise – all combine to make me a bit skeptical. I’d probably turn elsewhere before using ProtiDiet’s products.
What Others are Saying about ProtiDiet
Information on ProtiDiet is not that readily available. The products are, but that doesn’t change the fact that it’s all a bit hard to pin down. No one seems to be saying much of anything that’s useful to the average consumer.
