Private vs Public School
The comparism between private and public school in a particular country cannot be over emphasize. Before I proceed in stating the advantages of the public school over the private school, one has to know the difference between the private school and the public school.
Firstly, Public could be said to be a school owned or, which affairs is governed by the Government in order to give to the public good and essential education that would build up tomorrow's leader. While the private school on the other hand are own by an individual, which sole aim is to maximize profit and also provide good and quality education money can buy.
One of the benefit public schools have over the counterpart private is the capital project are finance by the Government. It would not take time in order for a government to finance project. But for any private to embark on such capital project, it would be a great task. In my country where I came from: Nigeria, public school has more qualify teachers than the private school. This is because the renumeration of the teachers are paid without delay and they are also adequately paid.
Benefit of the Private school over the public school is that quick decision making are pass quickly. Anything involving the Government in financing a project in the Public School must pass through "due process" while in Private School the board of directors takes decision without delay.
Stakerholders in the Private School bears the burnt in every capital project the school is embarking on. This is because the setting up of a private requires a lot of capital that means the student will have to pay high tuition fee in order for the school to move on. This also means that the private is melt for a particular class of student that comes from a rich and wealthy home while the low income earners cannot afford it.
The Benefit of the Public School over the Private School is that it is affordable by all. This reason of these is that the Government reduces the burden of tuition fees. This would make student that are not from rich home to attain school and also receives quality education.
Overall, would say that the Public School has some good advantage over the Private counterpart.

Another aspect which one might which to consider is that Private or Charter Schools are sponsored by someone (Corporate or Religious). Thus there is an agenda to the type of education being provided. The ones putting the most cash into the school obviously would have a large say in how things are done, books used, materials, etc. Private is not forced by the public to follow norms that society expects. An advantage to Private is that they do not have to follow public norms in things such as standards can be higher, expectations can be higher, and discipline enforced. If I was debating the issue there is one important factor that also needs to be considered if I was deciding for my child - socialization. Would my child fit in and feel comfortable at that school (Public or Private)? If the child is not happy or does not feel as if they belong they will not learn. I may be called a teacher, but in reality I am a motivator. I can not force a child to learn, just like you can't force the horse to drink from the watering hole. Both needs to want to and when a child wants to learn they will no matter what school. They need to like their teachers, peers, and feel safe in the environment. At the same time they need to agree to the expectations set on them and understand consequences of poor or unacceptable behavior.
