I BOUGHT PURINA DOG CHOW (20) lb BAG . TWO WEEKS LATER I NOTICED MY DOG WAS SICK. THAT WAS A WEEK AGO. TODAY 11-13-08 I GOT A BOWL OF THE FOOD OUT AND NOTICED THEIR WERE LITTLE MOTHS OF SOMEKIND FLYING OUT. I LOODED CLOSER AND SEEN LITTLE CACOONS IN IT. THEN I SAW SOME LITTLE TINY WORMS. NOW I HAVE TO TAKE MY DOG TO THE VET TO SEE WHAT IS WRONG WITH HER. I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE PURINA TO CONTACT ME ABOUT THIS MATTER.

Hi, I have a question, could you do a report on the Purina One Wholesome dog can food, It seems I can't find any reviews on this product. This is a fairly new product of Purina and my Dog likea this stuff, she is so picky and if this can food isn't all that bad I think I might stick with it, I'm also cooking for her she hates dry food! I did read the ingredients and really not bad, but this can food does consist of Meat by products but also real beef and chicken listed with other not bad stuff.

I have a 16 week old cocker spaniel, i have had her at the vets and she is apparantly got to go on hypoallergenic items, I wondered if you had any dof treat samples you could send me to try her on, it is all new to me and I know you have a good name.

june 26, 2009 purina might have a problem...On june 13, 2009 my 3 year old mix in a matter of days of seeing the vet died from diabeties due to pancreatits. There was no excessive drinking of water or excessive appetite. Just happy one day dead in thee days. Since this happened there have been 2 other people that have lost their pet the same way. Is there a problem with purina products????

I have a Boston Terrier (2) and a Lab Mix (4) that have developed rashes and loose stools after I started feeding from a just opened bag of Purina Fit N Trim. I took them to the vet $196.00 for special canned food and an antibiotic/diarrhea medication. I've been searching for pet recalls for this line of Purina food, but have not seen any. The vet suggested I take the lot number from the bag and contact purina to find out if there is a problem. I've saved the food in case I have to find somewhere to have it tested. My sister's cat that eats Purina Indoor cat formula food has also developed loose stools, so we stopped giving them water from the faucet and started using bottled water until I can also have the water tested.
