This product rated better than some of the Science Diet products I've check out. It doesn't cost near as much, either!

There is corn syrup listed in this product. I'm not sure why so much sugar is added to this food.

One of the comments on this page was questioning why I gave this product a better review than I did Science Diet. Simple, Science Diet was subject to the same test. Out of the five (5) Science Diet Dog Foods I tested the results were:

  • 1 scored 1 out of 10
  • 2 scored 3 out of 10
  • 2 scored 5 out of 10

Science Diet scored, using this simple to remember test, below Purina Moist and Meaty. Purina Moist and Meaty costs less and is widely available. Remember, this product did not make a score of 10 out of 10. A ten (10) score should be the LEAST we expect from our pet foods.

Do you realize your dog may be harmed with these two additives? Ethoxyquin and added color (Red 40) Do some BETTER research, please, before you make that great assumption you made "This product rated better than some of the Science Diet products I've check out"

I've covered some "basics" in my review. I feel like this is simple information people can remember when they go to the store. If this product scored better than Science diet....shame of both of them. For this simple to remember rating ANY product should be able to score a 10!
