Purple is such a powerful, beautiful and very sexy color, and as always, a color that come's in such a variety.
When i hear this word, i think of a nice ripe juicy plum. I think of Purple Drank and purple haze which are recreational drugs (long story;) i think of Purple haze which is also a song recorded by Jimi Hendrix. The singer Prince sang "Purple rain"..You can even get purple carrot's! you can!.. and from the hundreds of purple fish species to the dozens of flowers and and as always, a color that come's in a million different shade's and style's and below are some picture's and example's of how sexy purple is.

I could not complete this article without mentioning the most poinient Purple subject, the "Purple Heart", which is a decoration of combat medal awarded to members of the U.S armed forces, who have been injured or killed while serving after 5th April 1917.......Let's not forget.

What purple things are on your mind?
When I was a kid, nobody cared about purple. I didn't even like purple crayons.
Now, purple is my color. Maybe I hooked onto purple because of Purple Haze. Maybe purple got that needed boost in the late sixties. Now, purple, especially paired with green, is a very wonderful thing.

woow, purple really rules here. I must really say that purple suites very well in this models.
I don't know what the psychologists would say, compu-smart, but I always liked purple. Violet is my college colors at New York University. (I consider to be purple.)
I still have my uncle Bill's Purple Heart. He was killed when the Japanese sunk his destroyer, the Gregory, at Guadalcanal in WW II. The color is poignant, indeed, and it's special to me (The girls look great in their purple outfits, too.)

It´s funny, when I hear the word purple I always remember Deep Purple (and perhaps some of those recreational stuff, I´m not sure if I still remember that LOL). I loved to watch your model choices, some of them deserve every cent :D

What I think of is royal purple -- that the color was originally very rare, made by the Phoenecians, I think, and only VIP's could afford it --like Roman senators and eventually monarchs--I don't look good in purple--not aristocratic enough I guess:-)--but I like your color hubs Compu-Smart--color on!
I was going to make a comment similar to Robie2's...that the color purple was reserved for royalty for soooo long, thousands of years really until the French Revolution. When Louis quit wearing the color, the rest of us got to! yeah!
