1 .Hire a good Consultant: Consultant can give you best advise & help you to go ahead into certification of ISO9001:2000.

2. Purchase ISO9001 & Guidelines Standard.

3. Conduct awareness program to make about quality management system standard (ISO9001:2000).

4. Do Gap analysis as per existing working style in the company make standard.

5. To define plan of action to fill the gap.

6. Select core team to work on the action.

7. Appoint Management representative in the company: he is core member to implement QMS in the company.

8. Define quality Policy & objective: Objective must be quantifiable target so that we can measure the achievement.

9. Define Quality Manual, Quality Procedure along with departmental procedure.

10. Define Format.

11. Implement what you written in Quality Manual & procedure.

12 Maintain Records of implemented Procedure.

13. Conduct Management review Meeting to review the progress of quality management system standard (Iso9001:2000) Implementation.

14. Make internal quality Audit Plan & Conduct Internal quality Audit .

15. Fill Non conformity if occurred during Internal Quality Audit.

16. Select Certification body Like BIS,BVQI etc.

17. Conduct Document Audit by certifying Agency.

18. Conduct Pre-assessment audit by certifying Agency.

19. Conduct Certification Audit.

20. Get ISO 9001 Certificate if there is no non conformity during certification or final Audit.

21: Conduct Surveillance Audit.
