I think it is far better to spend quality time with your children over spending quantity time. I believe that children would appreciate the quality time with you over quantity time.

Quality time means you do things together with your children. You have discussions with them but do not argue. Quality time means that you appreciate the time that you have together and you cherish this time.

Quantity time is spending a lot of time with your children. It is far easier to get into a rut with quantity time because your children will soon learn that they are going to see you no matter what and they may start taking advantage of this fact.

Children are very smart. They pick up on things quickly. They will soon know the difference between quality time and quantity time.

We only have one chance to raise our children and I would rather know that I spent as much quality time with them as I could. I'm sure the children would feel that same way.
