Green Lovers Lane

The move to be Green is all around us and people are smiling and applauding each other, including the single Environmentalists and activists. How do they meet ?

As we know, people meet at all sorts of places and in various circumstances. We hear on television commercials about how using eHarmony and their in-depth questionnaire can help find your most ‘compatible partner’. How do people meet others specifically into Green?

A angst with some Environmentalists is the issue of those who claim to support Green yet the actions of a prospective date are quite the contrary. They will have friends and be part of networks that will relate to their enthusiasm for helping the planet, cleaning up our world, share with like-minds in this over all goal and these very specific qualifications, can carry over into prerequisites for a lover.

The support of a cause is varied amongst people and is largely respected since we are each individual and unique, that may set us apart individually yet can bring us together collectively. Organized social movements with a relatively large number of participants that are persistent can bring about or resist change therefore, being and qualifying as Green, can be measured quite seriously.

The existence of dating sites is renown on the internet abundant with the common tales of woe, risks and exposure for both men and women to meet others – only interested in sex, not intellectually compatible, professionally incompatible, not a millionaire or fail in some other designated criteria. These sites can claim to specialize in matching to specific areas of interests but the outcome of a near-perfect match, is as predictable as winning at a slots machine.

Growth of the Green cause has opened opportunities for them to join and meet through various professional networks and this includes their own dating sites. Their own quests for authentic believers and avoiding the wannabes altogether. A site specifically geared for Green singles to meet others and share in the goal for a sustainable Earth.

Green singles, want to be able to discuss their varied experiences of the green lifestyle, morality, politics, activities, green projects that are current, upcoming, past and present, and overall wide range of perspectives but preferably with someone who will share with equal enthusiasm, support and understanding.

Everybody needs love including our studious Environmentalists and love may be particular but is better appreciated with another when drinking from the same cup. Read related –> here or there.

It is interesting that you ask, how do green singles meet? I am a documentary film maker and I became embroiled in an issue in Tasmania. The proposed pulp mill, in the Tamar Valley, is causing massive deforestation, poisoning of waterways and death to wildlife on a massive scale. I came to Tasmania to find out why two women were prepared to walk around the island in protest. What I found was a vile and disgusting decimation of the island's natural equity and a compassionate woman, prepared to do whatever it takes to stop it. I fell in love with the island and the woman. I have finished the film "A Worm in the Apple" and here are some of the issues it covers. http://hubpages.com/hub/awormintheapple

I am now working on how to get it distributed... Any ideas?

Hi Ecobard, having a good marketing distribution plan is needed first off. I would suggest approaching major supporters and players of *Green* in film. Send your proposals and offers even to government. Best of luck and thank you for dropping by and sharing your comments. :)
