World of Warcraft is an extremely popular MMORPG that’s played worldwide on different servers. WoW is full of exciting quests which can be used to level up characters and to gain valuable rewards.

When you start playing WoW you will most likely choose to take quests in order to gain armor and weapons. This is important when you start the game as it gives you much more power and will allow you to participate in more advanced battles and quests.

An efficient way to get many quests done in a short period of time is to complete multiple quests at once. While this sounds straight forward, it can actually be quite complex, especially when dealing with chain requests.

When a number of quests are linking together they are known as chain quests. Chain quests are quests where certain things need to be done in certain orders. You need to finish part 1 before moving on to part 2, part 2 before part 3 and so on.

Whether you are part of the Horde of Alliance faction, you can gain good reputation by completing chain quests. Upon completion of chain quests you will usually receive a good reward. 

New body armor, weapons and money are typical examples of prizes you receive when you complete a quest. If you receive money you can use it to buy new materials and potion which serve well when raising your level. The higher your level is, the more money you generally receive upon quest completion.

The cooking profession has the potential to be one of the most lucrative in World of Warcraft. The fact of the matter is that everyone in WoW can benefit from top grade foods, most people are too lazy however to take the cooking profession to a level where it becomes a gold mine.

It’s easy to jump to the conclusion that the cooking profession is a boring one. If you’re after gold however, you may find it interesting to know that by selling high end “buffing” foods, you can make a significant amount of gold.

If you want to use cooking to make good money in WoW, don’t bother cooking low end foods. You need to focus on the high end foods. Another way you can use cooking to make money in WoW is by doing a daily cooking quest (these became possible with the release of the 2.3 patch). In addition to earning gold (you usually earn at least 7g per quest) you can also win new recipes by completing cooking quests.

As I previously mentioned, the way to make money through cooking is to focus on making the “buffing foods”. It’s a fact that Mages can create foods and drinks through spells. They are no real competition to you however as very few of their spells give bonuses to stats for a period of time. You can do this however.

Once you’re able to cook these types of valuable recipes, you can use them to give bonuses to Healing, Damage, Spirit, Stamina and Spell to mention a few. Don’t forget that you can also feed your pets these foods to give them a bonus (if you are a hunter).

Another way advanced player’s use the Cooking profession to make even more money is by combining it with Fishing. These two professions go together extremely well.

If you are worried that choosing Cooking will mean you need to sacrifice some other skill, you shouldn’t be. Cooking is a secondary skill meaning it has no effect on your trade skill options.

Players who are determined and willing to use their imagination find that making gold is WoW is almost limitless.
