Goulash

Cooked Hamburger

Egg Noodles

This easy-to-make goulash will quickly become a favorite dinner dish

Tasty goulash can be made with minimal effort and is just as good the next day when reheated.

Mushroom Goulash Recipe

Goulash is made with 3 main ingredients: hamburger, egg/broad noodles, and mushroom soup. This goulash has a rich garlic flavor.

  • Brown 1/2-1 lb. of ground beef with lots of crushed garlic (2-6 cloves). Once meat is cooked, add

  • 2 cans of Campbell's mushroom soup (do not add water and do not substitute for a cheaper brand of soup. The Campbell's mushroom soup lends a creamy flavor).

  • Season with salt and pepper and adjust garlic to preference, adding in garlic powder, as needed.

  • Keep warm on low heat

Cook up one pkg. of egg or broad noodles. Drain and combine with meat mixture. Serve your mushroom goulash immediately.

The garlic gives this goulash its flavor.

* You can also add freshly sliced mushrooms to the meat, when browning.

Hi Compu-smart,

Thanks for your comments.

This dish is easy to make, even for someone who doesn't cook: just fry the meat, cook the noodles, and then stir in the soup--and presto!--you have a tasty dinner dish.
