Quiff hairstyles can be seen on the runway as well as in fashion magazines, celebrities can be seen wearing various versions of the quiff hairstyle, it is a vintage look, going back to the 50's men are wearing trendy styles as well as woman, the style is catching on and in my area I see woman wearing little puffs of hair in the front of a ponytail or updo hairstyle, its fun and I can see it having a lasting affect for the rest of 2009.

How to create a quiff hairstyle

If you are trying to achieve the look its pretty simple to do just make sure your hair is long at the crown because this will make the little piece up front be higher and more defined, take a small section comb it up use hair spray to make it stay and then fold it over and pin it, then the rest of the hair can be put into a ponytail or left out.

I think quiff hairstyles work best on thick hair, because it will be easier for you to get the hair to stay, plus the higher the pomp the better.
