Even though I’ve talked about Quinta do Lago before, I believe it deserves a more in-depth article, especially for those that plan to spend their holidays in Algarve, and rent one of the villas available.

If you’re not convinced then I should tell you that Vogue magazine considered the Royal Suite of the Hotel Quinta do Lago as one of the 10 best suites in the world, described as "A large suite overlooking a lagoon of wildlife, with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, kitchen, living room, dining room and terrace surround a private pool where you can bathe in the sun any time of day."

Staying at Quinta do Lago, overlooking the tranquil estuary of Ria Formosa, is entering a new world of luxury and elegance. Another possible option is the Premium Rooms divided by two Garden Suites, six Luxury Suites and one Royal Suite. As the name suggests, the first, which are located on the ground floor of the hotel offer a privileged view over the gardens, while Luxury Suites are located in the upper floors and have a view over the ocean.

Finally, the Royal Suite. As you probably guessed, this is the largest and most sophisticated suite of the hotel and is located in the 6th and top floor, offering a splendid view over the Atlantic Ocean. This is a suite of 400 m2, including a private terrace with heated pool and jacuzzi, two independent rooms, a spacious living room, dining rooms, inside and outside, with capacity for six people, and a bar.

If you just want to visit Quinta do Lago then you might be interested in it’s gastronomic offers and other facilities. You’ll be able to find a bar near the lake, and two different restaurants in the hotel. One of the restaurants is called Ca 'd'Oro, with an offering of classic Italian dishes in a warm, intimate and romantic atmosphere and the other one, called Sea Breeze, provides modern Portuguese dishes and specialties.
