Quit smoking cold turkey is so hard to do. I smoked for over 20 years and when I tried to quit "cold Turkey" here are some of the things I went through.

On the first day I thought I was going nuts I kept reaching in my pockets for a smoke and checking all my ash trays for some half smoked cigarettes. I did that for about a week and so much of that was just habit always reaching for a smoke after a meal and in the morning with my coffee. I also had some very bad head aches and I was very irritable which was very bad for my marriage every little thing set me off. For the first few days I was very tired as well I didn't want to do anything.

So then I thought I will chew some gum and drink more water to try and flush out my system and then I would try and brush my teeth because I thought if I had really fresh breath and a clean mouth I wouldn't need a smoke.

Next thing I decided to do is motivate myself by putting a quarter in a jar every time I wanted a cigarette thinking it would add up and maybe I would take a trip to celebrate when I do Quit once and for all. If I was to cheat I would have to put a twenty in the jar and that let everyone in the house know that I cheated and that made me feel guilty and made me want to quit even more. Soon there was a jar full of twenties, I realized I needed help and I didn't want to use the patch because I wanted to quit not add nicotine in a different form.

So I finally found the help I need and I am now smoke free for over a year and I don't have any craving at all. Now I have more energy and I feel great. To learn about where i got help check out Quit Smoking Cold Turkey. Yes we did go on that trip not because i added more money from cheating but because i save more than $3,100 a year from not buying cigarettes.

quit smoking cold turkey program saved my life and you will be so glad you used it.
