We love quizzes, and it seems to me that we love quizzes about love. I was thinking about both quizzes and love. I thought if I was conducting a survey to see what people think and believe about love, I would ask the following questions, even though I'm sure most of them have been asked before. I invite you to feel free to answer them and with commentary if you like.

  1. Do you believe in love at first sight?
  2. Do you believe in soul mates?
  3. Do you believe that we have one or more than one soul mate?
  4. Do you believe that true love for someone can be destroyed or that it remains no matter what happens?
  5. Do you believe being "in love" can be experienced and maintained without sexual contact?
  6. Do you believe there is a difference between loving and being "in love"? If so:
  7. What is that difference?
  8. Do you believe that love that is unreciprocated is best expressed or best left unexpressed?
  9. How many times have you been in love?
  10. For how many of those loves, does the love remain?

1. I believe in attraction at first site.
2. See my hub on the subject: http://hubpages.com/hub/Are-soulmates-real_5
3. See above ;)
4.True love comes from yourself. If you think, say and do good love will remain. If you harm the other, the love this other person feels can be affected or even destroyed.
5. It depends on the kind of love, but basically: yes. I have a few contacts whom I have never met in person, but feel a warm love for.
6. I think there is a difference
7. I love my daughter, but I’m not in love with her. At least, not in the most common sense of the word.
8. There are lots of ways to express love. Keeping feelings inside is generally not the best way to deal with them.
9. Countless :)
10. Two, maybe three times so far.

Thanks, Ananta, for taking my little quiz. Maybe I should reword number 5. My curiosity is about this....Do you feel that being "in love" is possible to experience and be maintained without sexual contact?
