"In searching for a new enemy to unite us, we came up with the idea that pollution, the threat of global warming, water shortages, famine and the like would fit the bill ... All these dangers are caused by human intervention and it is only through changed attitudes and behaviour that they can be overcome. The real enemy, then, is humanity itself."

— in The First Global Revolution, pp.104-105 by Alexander King, founder of the Club of Rome and Bertrand Schneider, secretary of the Club of Rome

The Club of Rome is the Elite Think Tank behind Zero Growth, Sustainable Development and Global Warming. Many Rockefeller-CFR organization members like Dick Cheney and Kissinger are members of The Club of Rome.

Think for a change  says:

Hey bro,

I am glad to see there is someone who can actually think through the avalanche of Government Grant Money Funded propaganda to reinvent Socialism (or even Communism) through the guise of global warming, not global cliimate change... we are in the minority when teen-somethings, 20 somethings are full of heart and tend to 'glom on' to the 'big crisis' of our time...

Tell the Big Lie often enough and the majority will believe it... it's a sham and a shame... keep up the good work...

To hear REAL scientists speak on the subject, go to http://www.heartland.org/NewYork08/audio.cfm and download / listen to audios by REAL scientists, instead of feeeeeeel-good propaganda spreaders.

I checked p104-105 of the first global revolution and read the rest and can't find any quotes that i've seen regarding this document. Perhaps the version available online isn't the real deal? I dunno. Anyone able to tell me either way?
