HD Pocket Camcorder

After a few years of trying to do Youtube videos with my digital cameras 3 minute video function, I decided to spring for a camcorder.

I didn't realize just how much technology was out there, so I decided to try to keep my costs low and also find one that I could put in a pocket for easy transport, as well as have an easy time uploading the videos to my computer.

I checked out several pocket camcorders but most of the time the quality was less than desirable.  I was about to purchase the Flip, when I saw the RCA EZ300HD.

Pros and Cons

I weighed out the options between the Flip Mino HD, the Kodak Zi6 HD, and the EZ300HD.  Overall, the EZ300HD won me over.  Mainly because the the quality of the video.

I went to some video sites and viewed what others had taken with the camera to see the quality and was amazed that the EZ300HD was much better.  There wasn't the "wavy" feel to it, that some of the other cameras had.

There is one major disadvantage.  The sound quality on the EZ300HD is horrible.  For me, it wasn't that big of a deal because I had planned on uploading the videos and recording a voiceover anyway.  And it actually surprised me that the sound quality was so poor considering everything else was great.

Overall, I love this camera.
