Lisbeth Salander is an intriguing and complex woman. Although she has a history of unpredictable and violent behaviour, journalist Mikael Blomkvist, editor-in-chief of Millennium cannot believe that Salander is responsible for the murder of two journalists who were about to expose Sweden’s sex trafficking trade. Salander’s prints on the murder weapon have police doing everything in their power to track her down. Can Blomkvist find her before the Police do. He is convinced of her innocence, and will do anything possible to prove this. But time is of the essence and Salander is an expert at staying below ground.
This is the second book in the Millennium trilogy by Stieg Larsson and captures the reader with its suspense and intrigue. A must read series for any reader with a passion for crime novels. If you haven’t read them yet book one is, The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. Book Three, The Girl Who Kicked the Hornets Nest is due out at the beginning of October in NZ.
