RELIGION IS THE OPIUM OF THE NATIONS
64Religion.A word?a theory?a philosophy?nothing?From the beggining i apologise if i hurt some of my fans.I know its difficult for all to say something about HIM.We are very small to speak about GOD.But the problem is older than all of us.Philosophers said that religion is the OPIUM of nations,OPIUM with the bad meaning of the word,the drug that make minds smash potatoes.Wars began from religions ,massive killings had started from religion.What about mouths shuted either hell is waiting.The Holy Inquisition?That horible part of the cristian history?But all the religions are not so innocent.The fear of G O D is the best threat for all the poor people that they only wanted a better life for them and their families.The bad thing is that the ages passed ,but nothing change.Remember the massive killings in BALKANS a few years ago.Remember the massive suicide in Guyannas Jonestown by Jim Jones.Even the Mansons Killings had something common about faith of his believers.I am not speaking about Islam cause some will think am a Racist.But they are not innocent also....................The truth is that people do bad things in the name of God or Religion now and ever -I dont know if that will be ever stop but i hope.Finally i have to tell you that these are my personal thoughts and will follow more and more and more.........you can judge me.............i dont write for earning.....my account is 000000000000000,i dont even write in my mother languange but i am thinking about the common cause .................P E A C E and L O V E..........words came out from religions ,you see?The game is not over.

uhhh . . .that was Karl Marx who said, "Religion is the opium of the masses." Stalin and Mao took him up on the idea and 50 million people were murdered in 25 years—versus 100,000 in 1000 years during Inquisitions—which were as political as they were religious. The loss of religion caused the waves of death in the 20th Century after Darwinism took hold.

James dont forget the killings in the 3 crusades for Jerusalem,100000 died only in the war for the CLEANS SEKTA-and the deads in PEACE years are triple from the 2 world wars,and of course dont forget the Konquistadores in South and Central America ,or am i wrong?They were all killing in the name of Catholic Church?
Well . . . the Conquistadors were being paid by the Spanish Crown to find and bring back gold and silver. They did take along missionaries. But the missionaries protested the treatment of the Indians and were a benevolent force there in general.
The Crusades would take a long time to flesh out. The Muslims took the Holy Land; the Crusaders took it back; the Muslims took it back again. Both sides killed plenty of people.
I am not acusing church or religions ,but those who work in the name of every faith.Thats mean messages from Godes are not very very clear
Religion is not good or evil, it is an amoral entity. The problem is that the heart of man is evil, and religions get perverted by this evil. Man is the problem- not his institutions. Also, it's easy to attack religions, but how come it never gets mentioned all the great things people do in the name of their god. As a Christian I am proud to know many people who do many good things. Don't lump all of us with the nut cases and right wingers- it isn't fair.
Am sorry if i hurt your feelings for LORD JESUS but sometimes we have to seperate religion ,from his life and teach.He never said to organize religion and cristianity by these ways.Only evil can make a crime in his name,even a punishment is not good.
Hitler,Stalin,Pol Pot had no religion,yet between them in the space of 40 years they killed 100 times more people than religous wars manged to kill in recorded History. To blame religion for war and genocide is to do so without justification. On the contrary a convincing argument could be made to blame lack of religion for all the mess of the 20th Century.
If your read well my hub you find out that i said that all religions made a lot of genocides,so dont think am talking only about Christian church .....Remember Turkish genocides...Remember masacres for Jerusalem.....Today all about religion are happening or not?....The world trade center was not a part of a religion's war?...the bombings in israel or palestine are not a part of this war?And dont talk about Hitler..if you know the flag of S.S. was the IRON CROSS.....Yes mister some people using religions for this 20th century mess.
