I am not religious. I am a Biblical believer.
Religion is man’s opinion about God, His Word and moral values. Atheism, science fiction, politics and many theories belong to the same religious category.
In the United States and perhaps other countries around the world, are adopting the New Age religion as an alternative to the Christian religion. The number of people believing in the Christian faith is declining in Europe and the USA but is growing in Asia, Africa and South America. Millions of people are receiving Jesus as their Lord. The bias media commits the sin of omission by not reporting the facts.
Adam sinned by disbelieving the Word of God and was deceived by the Serpent – Satan. He died spiritually, which means he became spiritually separated from God. Separation creates confusion. Not knowing God separates us from Him and produces a desire to return to Him, without knowing how. It proves that people need God.
The devil did damage to Christianity by unjustly spreading poisonous gossip about it. The result is New Age religion (a polytheistic religion based on the religion of India), first by movie stars and others. Many movies stars are still living in the dream castles as usual. They like stories, which are in a fantasyland and is not reality.
People need God, need to be reunited with Him, since they were separated from Him. Revival is on the horizon.

We all need something like religion to comfort us, but it doesn't matter if it is real, it just needs to appear real.
BTW
Which is worse, dying on a cross or being a Christian that was torn apart by a hungry lion? Do you think the bible story would have been more impressive if Jesus had taken the lion path for his human death and then re-appeared whole after a lion tore him apart?

Religion is a blend of God's revelation and human opinion, tradition, thoughts etc. That's why some people believe in god but not religion. I agree that people need god. But there are so many religion and that fact create conflict. So how to reduce conflict ?
All my life I was looking for truth. The truth set us free. It can bring unity and peace. God is really good and not desire to punish us. He is love. Since He set the rules He has to fallow it. But it may create new book to explain.

I have some reservation to tradition and opinions. When we do not see clearly we have tendency of guessing. By revelation I found that two things God loves and it is faith and love. Rest is coming from it.
I still appreciate freedom much. God protects our freedom even we choose wrong. It is up to us to find Him, personally. Then we have all.
God created man to His image. We use to be carbon copy of Him in some way. But we messed and He try to help us.
He loves us so much.
