NO MORE IN GOD WE TRUST
62WERE IS RELIGION TODAY
WERE HAS RELIGION GONE
It was not so long ago when I use to pledge allegiance to the "flag," with my hand over my heart looking up at the red, white, and blue, flag and further stating "one nation under God" , and it was not to long ago that the "one dollar bill" had in "GOD WE TRUST." on it,. This has since came to past as well, and we no longer recite or see those eloquent words. What is happening to religion?
Are we not believers any more, or are we subject to the privacy of our homes to only praise God? For many, religion is a part of their lives, and it brings about a sense of moral stance. You cant go wrong with the scriptures in the bible as it is written, because it is a positive reading, that can be used to establish some awareness and righteousness is the corrupt world we live in today. On the other hand, religion is a matter of choice and not to be force upon anyone, it is a freedom of choice, and a touchy subject for many.
Yet, with religion being swept under the rug, what does it say for America today, perhaps we our more liberal. I remember an article were a men sued God, as ludicrous as it may sound, because God did not show up at the court room, "God"did get a judgement against him, I cant believe tax dollars was wasted on this "frivolous lawsuit". Religion comes in many facets with many believers, and the symbol on the dollar bill was a mere reminder of the respect this nation must uphold for one another, and that we should live in peace of peace and harmony, and to respect one another, something we should still be doing today.
However, with religion now gone from the school systems, and from the eyes of the public it's left up to the churches to bring in followers, and for family generations to pass down the understanding of "Christianity" so that we may no him (the men above)(the higher power), the (alpha the omega),(lord) (Jesus) and any other terms used to signify the "almighty". since it's no longer a public figure.       Â
Yet we have all kinds of bad, corrupt, sinful figures out their that are not an issue  and many Americans worship it, or wear them as clothing and yet Christians are subject to seeing, viewing, or reading this material.  For the love of money as its written "money is the root of all evil" so how can we trust it now, with the symbol gone" what meaning does money have today? is it simply a dollar bill, it seems as though it has lost it's value.Â
For Christians, I'm sure many will bless the money that is received and have trust in God that he will provide blessing, and for others it is a means of survival and a need to get by, and for some it's power and control and greed and corruption, and for the few it is a piece of paper that is a necessary way of living in and effort to sustain life. Â
