Let's embrace and Not Hate
55
People of every color
Is that all that you see?
Everyone is a person
With their own individuality
I see men, women, and children
All around me
If a child in need is Arab, Jewish, or Black
Would your support to help them lack?
White does not mean I hate you or I hate your skin
Maybe you’re just not nice
And you need to fix yourself from within
Or maybe you should put down your card
And rethink your opinion
You could just be wrong about your decision
Black doesn’t mean I will rob you
Or I am violent and dumb
I can be just as educated
You don’t have to fear or run
I am a person like you
Just unlock your heart
Your mind has the key
You never know what you might see
The Latinos are not out to take all the jobs
Remember we all are immigrants
From some far away place
Yes, some were brought as slaves
But we all here now
Let the past not way you down
And keep you locked out and bound
Take advantage of you life
Instead of stabbing at others like a knife
Asians are not all geniuses
And not all stupid or rude
Some come from many hardships
To make it to this land
Is it wrong to reach out and lend them a helping hand?
No I cannot say racism does not exist
In some places it is still an ugly deep abyss
But don’t let ignorance and hate
Create you into a fool
Look at each person one by one
There is beauty in some
Fools are amongst us
In many different colors and shapes
Put down your armor
Learn to care and respect
We all apart of the United States and this great world
Lets us not just judge the outside
Look from within
That’s when real peace will truly begins

Nice. It is true like you stated in your poem, the truth lies within. That is where some form of anger or hate originates. Good lines and descriptive references.
