Ever since the Rajni-Shankar combo came out successfully with the A.R.Rahman Musical, AVM's SIVAJI The Boss in 2007, Kollywood fans got curiously looking forward to more(atleast one more) from the Superstar and the Super Director Shankar together.

Enthiran- Action Fantasy

• Cast : Rajinikanth, Aiswarya Rai.
• Director : Shankar
• Music: A.R Rahman

The script that was earlier written by writer Sujatha(late) and director Shankar, was named as ROBOT and was expected to be a Kamal starrer, even had started with a photo session few years ago. The same script ROBOT, which is the dream project of Shankar took unexpected twists in 2008 when he thought of making it a bilingual movie that will speak tamil and hindi.

Shankar, one of the leading directors of India faced too much of difficulties in finding the right hero for the movie in which tamil actor Ajith, bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan avoided the movie for unknown reasons and it finally came to Rajnikanth.

Villu- Action movie

Selvaraghavan is one of the Kollywood Star Directors who always work hard to give Director's movies. Selva-Yuvan team had a split that resulted in G.V.Prakash Kumar becoming the music director of Selvaraghavan's Aayirathil Oruvan and also for his another movie that is just started.

Naan Kadavul - Social Fantasy

• Cast- Arya, Pooja.
• Director: Bala
• Music: Ilayaraja

Director Bala is another most important director in tamil cine who never gets compromised until he gets the desired output in movies that he directs. Despite of the accusations for the director's delaying the movie NAAN KADAVUL still has huge expectations for Maestro ILAYARAJA's music and tamil actor Arya's entirely different looks for the movie.

Peranmai - Action

Handsome, charming tamil hero 'Jeyam' Ravi is eagerly waiting for the release of his movie Peranmai which is believed to take him to new dimensions.
