Did you know that ramen is actually thought of in Japan as an art. People have to train for years to successfully make ramen. It is an artful expression that is said to make those who eat it feel the way the cook made it. Japanese put their heart and soul into preparing the perfect bowl of ramen noodles. The noodles we eat on this side of the world would be an insult to a ramen house in Japan. They actually have museums dedicated to the noodle.
