Is your kid begging you for a Razor E100 electric scooter? If yes – you are not alone – my son used to also until I gave up and bought it. The reason he wanted it as badly was all the kids riding the cool scooter in the RV park where we frequent. I did my best to persuade him that it wasn’t the right toy for him but he didn’t want to listen. He wanted it so badly so I decided to go online and research different makes and models. I spent two days reading electric scooter reviews from regular people like you and me. In the end of the first day I noticed that a name of a particular electric scooter started to pop up more frequently. I am talking about Razor E100 electric scooter. The following article is basically what I learnt about the scooter and my experience with it.

Firstly E100 Razor electric scooter is easy to operate. People who had already bought the scooter claimed that it was easy for their kids to start and stop. What’s more – the kids could even charge it themselves. That’s what I wanted I thought to myself. It turned to be true – my boy has no problem with starting and stopping. Also the scooter is rugged enough to withstand him. Before I move on I want to mention one thing that I don’t like about E100 Razor – when you corner very sharply the chain protector drags the pavement. I decided to take it off and the problem was solved.

Secondly – the scooter is easy to assemble. It shouldn’t take you more than 15 minutes if you follow the instructions that come with the cute electric toy. Keep in mind though that in order to operate properly it has to be charged for 12 hours the first time. You want to do so because when your little boy or girl sees it they will want to start riding it immediately.

According to the manufacturer the battery life is about 40 minutes. However from my experience I must say that the battery lasts more than an hour before it needs to be charged again. What I noticed is that sometimes the battery just doesn’t charge. At first I thought that it was gone for good but I quickly realized that I just have to reset. Now my kid thinks that I am a hero because I was able to “fix” the scooter.

As I said before Razor E100 is strong enough. How do I know that? Very simple – a few days ago I saw my husband riding it. I couldn’t believe my eyes but it was true – my son and my husband were taking turns. I just have to add that my husband is 190 lb.

From what I have said so far you might think that electric scooters are for boys only. Nothing can be farther from the truth. As a matter of fact e100 electric scooter comes in blue, pink for girls and a few other colors. However the truth is that local stores carry only one or two colors the most so you might need to go online if you need a different color.

That’s what I did – I decided to buy the scooter online. The main reason was the price – it was much cheaper. The second reason was the convenience – instead of going to the store to pick it up the scooter was delivered to my house.

The website that I decided to buy my blue Razor e100 electric scooter had it on sale at the time so I immediately took them up on their offer. As I said – the shipping was free. Also, to sweet the deal, the website was offering 30 days money back guarantee in addition to the original manufacturer’s warranty. It couldn’t get better than that.
