Why Do I Need Them?

What are Readers Glasses (also known as reading glasses) and why do you need them? This is a question asked time and time again because it is something that most people at some point or another need to address. The need for reading glasses rises as one develops presbyopia, an inevitable hardening of your eye's lens as you age. As the lens hardens your ability to focus at near begins to change. The easiest way to address this is over the counter near vision glasses.

Designers of readers glasses...

As the need for readers arises there is no need to despair. The reading glasses you are probably familiar with are the unattractive, sit on the edge of your nose variety of yesteryear. With the growing population of presbyopes a number of designers and manufacturers in the optical industry have stepped up to offer fashionable options.

Scojo, Eyebobs, Seeqa, and Amy Sacks are just a few.

Presbyopia

Presbyopia, this sounds serious. Do I need to be alarmed? No, you do not need to be overly concerned with the development of presbyopia as you age. Again, it is the natural process of your lens hardening which simply makes it hard for your eye to focus at near. Of course, you should always schedule regular visits with an eye doctor to make sure nothing else is at play.

I have become very interested in all the different eyewear designers. Who want's to wear those "edge of your nose" readers with designers like Eyebobs around? Great Hub.
