Would you like know what your dog is thinking?
These intelligent family pets often know what we are going to do before we do it. They are very sensitive to behavior and emotions and pick them up very well from their owners.
Those big brown watery eyes hide a multitude of things. It isn't easy to work out what those secret thoughts are but we can make an educated guess.
First come the most important questions in a dog's world: 'Was that my dinner? Did I just eat it? When is it dinner time?' All three questioned are asked immediately after dinner of course.
Next is, 'I wonder what postman's leg really tastes like? Is it like chicken? Or maybe it's like bacon. Oh yes, it's bound to be bacon. I can smell bacon a hundred metres away.
Then, the age old puzzle which all dogs have tried to solve, 'How do I get up there?' This generally refers to a place, high above the floor with no means of access where humans put the roast beef, or the roast chicken.
Finally, the question amourous dogs have been asking, ' What's that weird perfume that they spray on Fifi? Don't they know it's most unattractive?'

I think our dog really thinks that he has finally managed to 'educate' my husband!
