Beauty of Istria

Istria - Heaven on Earth

Istria is the largest peninsula in the Adriatic sea located at the west of Croatia. It is considerd to be one of the most beautiful regions of Croatia and Europe. Some people describe it as a combination of Tuscany and Provence. From the crystal clear sea at the coast and the beautiful peaceful nature in the inland... Istria is a perfect place to raise a family in peace and tranquility, but it is an extremely attractive tourist destination at the same time. The region is also well known for its cuisine and gastronomy offer. Truffles are a specialty here and their quality is the highest in the world. Offer of wines is also of the highest quality. Istria was also a Roman colony and there are many cultural herritage sites like the amphitheathre in Pula dating from that era. Places like Rovinj, Porec and Umag are well known tourist destinations in Istria. Unlike Dalmatia, real estate market in Istria is still relativlly undiscovered and there is a wide range of properties for sale. The most attractive are old Istrian houses build from stone, but there are also many exclusive villas at attractive locations at the coast or in the inland. prices are acceptable and they are expected to continously grow in the furure whic makes it extremely wise to invest in real estate in Istria. There is not much to say about this beautiful spot on the planet that has not already been said in a song or a poem. Combination of old stone houses, excuisite cuisine, great wines and very favourable climate makes Istria a perfect place to live, raise a family or just come and relax during any time of the year.
