Bras for Younger Girls Video

Training Bra--Bra for Early Breast Developement

A training bra is designed for young girls who have begun to develop breasts but who don’t yet fit into women’s bra sizes.

Normal sizes of the training bra usually range from AAA to A cups. Once a girl can wear a B cup, she can usually find a bra in the appropriate sizes. It should be noted in all sizes besides the A cup, double letters means that it is a larger cup size. For instance, DD is bigger than D, but AAA or AA bra cups are smaller than A cups.

The time to start wearing a first training bra depends entirely on the individual girl. There are girls who develop breasts at the age of eight, whereas others don't 'show' until they are teenagers. There are girls who don’t feel it essential to wear a training bra at any point, but some gals look forward to trying their first training bra as a kind of rite of passage for them into womanhood.

It isn't always true that when a girl first begins to grow breasts she may not require a great deal of breast-support, but a training bra can nevertheless be helpful if they exercise to prevent rubbing and chafing of the skin. A training bra also gives an extra layer of cloth between clothing and the breasts, and that is a good way to remain 'modest'. There are a number of girls who prefer just to wear undershirts or camisoles.

The majority of types of training bra are not complicated, being simple in design and a number of them are made in stretchy-cotton which feels nice against the tender skin. The training bra does not always have an underwire, since minimal support is all that is required.

Training bras come in a number of sizes, but are not always uniform. Proper measurement of the breasts is important. In order to find the adequate fit, you should always take two seperate measurements. The first measurement should be taken directly under the breasts and around the circumference of the body at that point. The second measurement should be taken by measuring the breasts right where the nipple is, and this measurement will of course be somewhat larger than the one beneath the breast.

Now after averaging the difference, you can seee if the number is between 0-.5 inches in which case an AAA training bra cup might be the best buy. One inch difference between the two measurements suggested above, indicates an AA cup, and a 2 inch differential in the two measurements usually suggests an A cup.

Cup sizes are not always available in all training bras, and instead are only calculated by circumference of the rib cage and the back beneath the breasts. The cups of such bras are usually flat but have a small bit of give in order that a somewhat larger breast receives a some degree of lift and support. It is always best to try on the training bra and see how it feels, of course.
